Which type of egg donation is right for you?
Open Program A donation in which egg donors and prospective parents exchange personal contact information, photographs, and possibly meet. The level of contact is up to you and your prospective parent. You may or may not receive statistics regarding the outcome of your donation.
Closed Program- (also known as anonymous) A donation in which personal contact information will not be exchanged. You, the donor, will not receive photos, updates, or contact from prospective parents. You may or may not receive statistics regarding the outcome of your donation.
Flexible Program-a donation program offered to egg donors who are willing to participate in either the Open or Closed programs.
Egg Donor Requirements
YOU MUST BE:
1) Between the ages of 18 and 29* 2) A high school graduate 3) In good general health, disease-free, and willing to test accordingly. 4) Mature and responsible 5) Available and committed to the donation process which involves traveling to and from fertility clinics for monitoring and retrieval. You must take numerous injections on a strict schedule as well as blood tests, ultrasounds, and undergo the retrieval procedure.
*If you are an experienced egg donor age limits may be extended.
Suggested fee for a first time donation is : $3,500-$4,500
Exceptional Donor Requirements** In addition to the egg donor requirements stated above, you must also have at least one of the following:
* SAT score of 1150 or higher * ACT score of 20 or higher * IQ score of 125 or higher AND
* be enrolled in college or graduated from college with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
** EXCEPTIONAL DONORS may request a higher fee.
