Requirements for Prospective Parents are simple and straightforward.  You must be:                                         *Ready to commit to the egg donation and/or surrogacy                                          process.                                         *Willing to submit to psychological and medical testing as                                          needed.                                         *Financially secure.                                         *Settled in other aspects of your life.                                                                                                                  Ova the Rainbow specializes in diverse and exceptional egg donors.  We pride ourselves on profiling donors who are from many cultures, faiths and ethnicity.  If you wish to locate an egg donor of a specific ethnicity or religion, please contact us.  We offer Open, Closed, and Flexible egg donation programs.  You decide which type of donation best suits your family's needs. Ova the Rainbow is an agency with an innovative approach to the egg donation process.  Our staff realizes that you, the prospective parent, may not be available during regular business hours or may not feel comfortable viewing profiles in an outside setting.  We offer an egg donor database on our website which you may view, free of charge, as often as you like.  We want you to take your time and feel confident in your choice.  If you find an egg donor who fits your qualifications, contact us via website, phone, or email.  We will respond promptly offering you a more detailed profile of your egg donor candidate.  As soon as you choose an egg donor, she is contacted and asked if she is willing and able to help you.  If she agrees, psychological and medical screenings will be completed, followed by legal agreements.  The donation cycle is started after contracts have been signed and monies are deposited in trust with Ova the Rainbow.  Our staff will guide and offer support to you and your chosen egg donor through the entire process including: finding a physician, medical screenings, psychological screenings, financial arrangements, and legal aspects of the agreements.  We will act as liaisons between you and your chosen egg donor as needed. We will personally oversee all medical monitoring and coordination of egg donors.  This may require scheduling appointments with more than one physician if your egg donor lives out of the area.  We will be available in person or  by telephone to each egg donor during the cycle and retrieval period.  If your egg donor is cycling in the Northern California area, an Ova the Rainbow staff member will gladly accompany her to any or all monitoring appointments and the retrieval procedure. Our mission is to make this a wonderful experience by offering to relieve some of the stress associated with the donation process... "let us sweat the small stuff for you".  As prospective parents, you may choose your level of involvement with the donation process.  We will respect your wishes and those of your egg donor.
